All of this ensures that you get an accurate reproduction of your English document in the languages required. Your printer can print using standard English applications without any problems.
Adelphi can also provide printing services. Adelphi have handled a number of translation jobs which have gone to print and consequently have built up good relationships with quality print and publishing companies in Sheffield.

Adelphi specialises in providing typesetting services in Japanese and Chinese. Dealing with these languages, it is necessary to be aware of the potential problems....
Adelphi specialises in providing typesetting services, voice recording services and website translation in the 'Community Languages' of the UK which vary depending on the location in the U.K. Some of the most common are Mandarin, Arabic, Somali and, of course, the languages of the Indian subcontinent, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Hindi etc........
India is a country with an enormous number of native languages but is also the third largest English speaking nation. The only other official language in India is Hindi, but there are dozens of others including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati , Kannada, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil and Urdu. .......
The Arabic language is one of the world’s most important tongues, spoken by over 280 million people as a first language and another 240 million as a second langage. It is the only major world language written from right to left. .......
Foreign Langage Typesetting (DTP) is our speciality at Adelphi, and we are especially adept at handling complex scripts. Cambodian, or Khmer, is the official language of Cambodia with speakers in the tens of millions and its own exotic script. The Khmer alphabet was developed from the Brahmi script of ancient India.......
Farsi typesetting (DTP) and Hindi typesetting (DTP) pose no probems for Adelphi. Farsi uses a modified version of the Arabic script and runs right-to-left. Farsi Typesetting must be done using specialised software which can handle right to left scripts. Hindi typesetting poses its own problems with non-standard fonts, some of which do not work with standard typesetting software.
Urdu typesetting or DTP (Desk Top Publishing) poses particular problems. Not only is the Urdu language written right-to-left, but there are two distinct 'forms' of the language, Nastaleeq and Naskh. Nastaleeq is considered and art-form and is a very complex script to reproduce, requiring specialised Urdu Typesetting (DTP) software. Naskh is the more commonly used script in typesetting for Arrabic, Persian, Pashto etc. and can be used for Urdu too.
Chinese typesetting comes in two flavours: traditional and simplified. Traditional Chinese (繁體字) is used in HongKong, Macau and Taiwan and in overseas Chinese communities such as Singapore and Malaysia. Simplified Chinese (简体字) characters are used in Mainland China. From 1946 onwards the government of the People’s Republic of China promoted a simplified character set to improve literacy rates in China.
Adelphi specialises in typesetting the more exotic scripts. This project was an interesting variation on our usual business jobs. We were asked to typeset the book 'The Man-Eater of Punanai' by Christopher Ondaatje. This is the story of a small village in Ceylon where the locals were terrorised by a man eating leopard.
