Arabic TranslationEnglish to Arabic Translation is a speciality of Adelphi. The quality of your Arabic Translation is assured by the qualified and experienced translators we use. No Arabic translation is too small or too complex for Adelphi.

Arabic to English Translation

Our Arabic to English translations are carried out by native English speakers with a tried and tested record of translating into Arabic.

Arabic Typesetting & Print

Arabic TypesettingArabic Typesetting can be a complex process. The Arabic script runs right-to-left but is often mixed with English numbers and text which run left-to-right. At Adelphi we have extensive experience with Arabic Typesetting projects and have specialist software to handle Arabic typesetting correctly including InDesign ME, QuarkXpress and Microsoft Publisher.

At Adelphi we employ native Arabic speakers for Arabic typesetting. A non-native speaker would be in danger of copying and pasting text from the source documents into the wrong places, copying the same paragraph twice, and hyphenating words in inappropriate places.

Arabic Website Translation

Arabic website translationAdelphi Website Translation is a speciality of Adelphi Translations. The translation of websites into Arabic is a complex process which can involve static HTML or XHTML pages, database text, images with text and other media such as Flash movies and voice-recordings. Adelphi can take your existing English site and convert all of its elements into Arabic.

Our knowledge of website technologies and languages allows us to design and implement websites of any size and complexity from scratch, making them easy to localise and convert to foreign languages. We can handle all kinds of web files including XML, PHP, ASP, .NET etc.....

Arabic Voice Recording

Arabic Voice RecordingArabic Voice Recording at Adelphi is carried out in our in-house digital recording studio. There are examples of the voices we use in our Multimedia Portfolio. The Arabic Language

Arabic is spoken throughout the Middle-East in Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Chad, Cyprus, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Lebannon, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Oman, Palestinian West Bank & Gaza, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkey, UAE, Uzbekistan and Yemen. Each country has its own colloquial variation of Arabic but Modern Standard Arabic exists as a form understood by all Arabic speakers.

The Arabic script, which evolved from the Aramaic script, is written right-to-left but often contains English numbers and text, which revert to left-to-right. This can cause headaches when typesetting Arabic documents or creating webstes in Arabic. For Arabic websites the whole page can be mirrored, even to the extent that the scrollbar appears on the left-hand side of the screen.

The Arabic script has been modified to write many other Middle Eastern languages such as Farsi, Dari and Urdu.

Sample Arabic Text

يكتفي معجم محيط المحيط بذكر المشتق أو المدخل مرة واحدة ويكتفي بالعطف لبيان معنى جديد دون تكرار المشتق أو المادة. مثال آكل الشجر إيكالا : أعطى أكله. وبين القوم : أغرى بعضهم ببعض بالنمائم. وفلاناً : أطعمه. وفلاناً الشيء : أطعمه إياه
