Thanks to Adelphi, customers of Sainsbury's in The Netherlands and Denmark can enjoy a whole year's worth of receipes from the UK's very own Jamie Oliver
Localising this calendar involved more than just making sure the ingredients and quantities were accurately translated (this would have resulted in some disgusting flavours had we got it wrong!) Each calendar had to be properly 'localised' i.e. made relevant to the country in which it appeared. All special local dates had to be researched - in Denmark, for example, the birth dates of all the members of the royal family are celebrated. |
