Sinhalese Typesetting (DTP)

Adelphi Translations specialises in typesetting the more exotic scripts. This project was an interesting variation on our usual business jobs. We were asked to typeset the book ‘The Man-Eater of Punanai’ by Christopher Ondaatje. This is the story of a small village in Ceylon where the locals were terrorised by a man eating leopard.

Adelphi Translations were asked to translate and typeset the book in Sinhalese. Sinhalese uses an exotic and beautiful script which is not for the faint-hearted typesetter!

Adelphi Translations also produce websites, subtitles, voice overs and Flash files in Sinhalese.
